Our Parry family seems to originated from the Hereford/Worcestershire areas.We have information back as far as 1772 on Parry side of our family, when William Parry married Ann Farmer although we have information as far back as 1548 on Ann Farmer’s family.Our grandfather Joseph Edward Brazier seems to be a mystery the only things we know for certain are his marriage details and when and where he died.On our mothers side of the family our grandfather John Edward Wood was born in Royston(e) near Barnsley in Yorkshire in 1880 his parents were George Wood and Mary Wood nee Houlgate who came from the Hatfield/Thorne area of Doncaster.

The picture to the right is of the Headstone (which is in the Bolton on Dearne Cemetery) of Lucy Dennis nee Hole was the mother of my grandmother Ruth Dennis and the wife of John William Dennis. Lucy died in 1904 aged 29 years. John William Dennis remarried to Jane Annie Pounder in Goldthorpe,Yorkshire in 1910.
